What is it about?

Returning to work following a break and recovery from psychological harm can be difficult and requires a supportive workplace environment and management. The journey is rarely a direct transition back to one’s previous roles and responsibilities, and rather involves a suitable and personalised plan and guidance.

There are many ways a workplace can support recovery and aim to develop healthy relationships, communication and a strength-based approach.

This short course has been developed by subject matter experts to educate employees, employers and students about recovery and returning to work in relation to mental health.

In this course you will learn about:

  • What can promote and support recovery
  • The notion of a personalised plan for return
  • Using a strength-based approach

… and much more.

Who is it for?

This course is ideal for HR officers, WHS supervisors, compliance officers, those interested in WHS (work health and safety), and more broadly, anyone in the Australian workforce.
