This course focuses on trauma-informed practice, psychological safety, learner wellbeing, and supportive engagement strategies within vocational education environments.
Participants will explore how trauma, stress, anxiety, and adverse experiences may affect learner participation, behaviour, confidence, communication, and assessment performance. The course provides practical strategies to create respectful, psychologically safe, and learner-centred learning environments that support participation and reduce barriers to learning.
Aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025, the course supports workforce capability development in learner wellbeing, inclusive teaching, and learner support practices.
