Founder and Principal Consultant of Careers in Care Group | Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Advisor for VET Providers
Sam is the Founder of Careers in Care Group, a Management & Educational consulting firm offering CGRM (Compliance, Governance, Risk Management) consulting services, Online Competency Assessments for the VET workforce, and Industry Advisory Services. With 19 years of experience in the Australian VET sector, Sam is a leading expert in designing and implementing risk assessment and academic governance frameworks, conducting validations, and performing regulatory compliance audits to ensure RTOs and CRICOS providers meet industry standards. In addition to his work in compliance and risk management, Sam specializes in workforce capability development, helping education providers build strong, skilled teams. As a 2019 ISS Institute Fellow, Sam conducted in-depth research on improving VET outcomes through sustainable industry engagement practices. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate focussed on SIE (Sustainable Industry Engagement) Models, focusing on creating innovative approaches that foster stronger collaboration between education providers and industry stakeholders.

Khushboo Gupta (Khush) is the Founder and Director of SKG Consulting Services and SKG Training Services, with over 18 years of experience in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector. A qualified CPA and Chartered Accountant, Khush brings a unique combination of financial, regulatory, and operational expertise. She specialises in supporting RTOs and CRICOS providers with compliance, audit readiness, and strategic alignment to the Revised RTO Standards 2025. Her expertise spans Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), internal quality assurance, policy development, ASQA audit preparation, and ESOS compliance. Khush has successfully guided numerous organisations through initial registration, re-registration, and the implementation of robust compliance frameworks. Known for her practical and solutions-focused approach, she works closely with education providers to build sustainable systems that strengthen training quality, governance, and long-term compliance outcomes.
