What’s it about?
ASQA’s regulatory experience and successive strategic industry reviews show that Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) struggle to comply with SRTO2015 clauses 1.5 and 1.6. Many RTOs are unable to demonstrate evidence of engaging with industry and employers to test that their training and assessment strategies and practices are relevant to current industry needs.
Industry Engagement is an ongoing activity and retaining evidence of recent engagement as well as historic activity will demonstrate that the RTO has consistently carried out industry engagement to ensure that training practices are aligned to meet industry requirements.
